FISHING

OFFSHORE deep sea fishing is around White Island & the Volkner Rocks 30miles off shore. This is deep sea fishing with typical fishing in depths of 100 to 300 metres. Maximum of 4 anglers. Fish species include:
* Yellowtail kingfish which are known for their raw strength & fight
* Deep sea hapuka & bluenose
* Yellowfin tuna
* Marlin
* Giant terakihi

INSHORE fishery also offers great opportunities around Motuhora (Whale), Raurimu Islands & in the vast bay. Maximum of 6 anglers. These areas encompass both rocky bottom & sandy bottom for species such:
* Snapper
* Terakihi
* Kahawai
* Trevally
* Gurnard

SALTWATER FLY (SWF) is a great option either inshore for Kahawai & Snapper or offshore for Kingfish & Trevally
